    My daughter and I had a lovely weekend at the Highlands Hotel and were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. The hotel was in a lovely location with excellent views of the coast.

    my sister and I stayed here in the summer,The hotel was very clean the rooms we stayed in were basic but ok for a short break the food was very good very well presented. the location is very remote but a good bus service across the road from the hotel .there is room for abar and some evening entertainment .as it is rather quiet.overall if you are looking for peace then itsok.

Rooms

The Highlands Hotel has 56 en-suite bedrooms that are all tastefully decorated and furnished. Most have country or sea views and some have private balconies.

Facilities include: Colour television with teletext, direct dial telephone, hospitality tray and hair dryer. A listening service for babies and small children provides peace of mind for parents.

There are also a limited number of ground floor bedrooms as well as a lift that serves the twin rooms on the first floor and the Tower Lounge. The luxury balcony suites offer the extra flexibility of a sitting area and balcony with some of the finest uninterrupted sea views to be found anywhere in the British Isles.

Wi-Fi has been introduced around the hotel and broadband/printing facilities are available at no extra charge.

Restaurant

The hotel restaurant offers a five-course evening dinner with choices to suit all tastes and guests are allowed to bring their own table wine. On Sunday evenings the Chefs prepares a mouth watering cold buffet whilst traditional or vegetarian style hot Sunday lunches are available.

In the morning there are English or Continental breakfasts and during the day you can enjoy a selection of refreshments, light lunches, homemade cakes and Jersey cream teas and a range of drinks and mineral waters are available with your meals, and all are served by courteous and efficient waiting staff.

There is a south facing terrace with a heated outdoor swimming and paddling pools.

Tourist Attractions

The famous Corbiere lighthouse is one of the most photographed buildings in Jersey. Completed in 1874 and the first such structure in the British Isles to be built entirely from reinforced concrete rather than traditional stone blockwork, it is fairly easy to see up close when the tide is out.
