We very much enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Hotel, the staff were very friendly & helpful, the hotel is conveniently located for the very good Jersey bus service, the food in the restaurant was excellent, the room was comfortable and kept clean by the excellent hotel services staff. One slight disappointment was the lack of variety of breakfast cereals - only cornflakes or rice crispies were available. That having been said, we would stay there again and recommend the Hotel to our friends

“Family Wedding Weekend”

Stayed at the Dolphin begining of September for a weekend, room was lovely, good size, plenty wardrobe and cupboard space, bathroom had a shower, toilet and sink, looked like it had been recently put in and the best bit we had a lovely view out to the harbour. Beakfast in the morning was good with a variety of food to choose from including a cooked breakfast. The bar was cosy, we sat outside on the benches with a drink because the weather was lovely. Staff were all very nice and friendly. I would go back again if I get the chance.

Excellent meals set in a lovely atmosphere where staff were so professional and friendly.
When we visit again we would ask if a room with a bath [instead of a shower] would be available.
The room we had was very nice and cosy but the stairs were a little steep for us and left us out of breath when reaching the room.

Situated beneath the medieval Mont Orgueil Castle, The Dolphin Hotel is a small,
family run 2 Star hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Set within the picturesque fishing
harbour of Gorey in St Martin, the hotel overlooks the sleepy harbour and beautiful
Grouville Bay, and has views across to the French coast. The Dolphin Hotel can offer
tailor made holidays, romantic breaks and celebrations.
Rooms
At The Dolphin Hotel all bedrooms are en-suite and come fully equipped with: tea
and coffee making facilities, television, radio, trouser press, hair dryer, direct
dial telephone and modem points. Single rooms are available and most rooms have
sea views.
There are also several Premier bedrooms that provide panoramic views across the
harbour and to the south east bay of Grouville.
Restaurant
The restaurant is open every day for lunch and dinner and the continental style
cuisine has a high reputation for its quality. Emphasis is placed on using local
produce, and specialties are a variety of seafood alongside cooking on hot rocks.
Vegetarians are catered for.
There is a Cocktail Bar adjacent to the restaurant and in the centre of Gorey Pier,
the Mediterranean Bar and Grill is a friendly and informal place offering al-fresco
dining. It has a good reputation among locals for providing a good choice of varied
cuisine and has a good selection of beers, wines and spirits.

Tourist Attractions
Mont Orgueil Castle which dates to the 13th century, is the most picturesque castle
in Jersey and one of the best preserved castles in Britain. It is located just ten
minute walk away from The Dolphin Hotel, and features life-size wooden soldiers
who guard the castle from attack and more than 50 exhibits, so is well worth visiting.
