On the whole a very enjoyable stay. A couple of minor criticisms: the set menu did not always match appropriate vegetables with the main item (for example omelette with mashed root vegetables and cabbage), and the knives could have been sharper. On a more positive side the food was varied and of a high standard, and there was a very reasonable wine list. Service came with a genuine smile, and in all areas we found the staff extremely courteous and professional, with the hotel having the highest possible standards of cleanliness. The atmosphere was very friendly and we would recommend the hotel to our friends.

The hotel is on a main road but within 200 metres of the beach and bay. The food was of a very high standard and the staff could nt do enough to help. We stayed here early October and were lucky enough to still get use of the heated pool, which was an unexpected benefit!

We have not been to Jersey for 3 years but found the welcome at Pontac House to be as good as ever. The sea-front position is superb, the staff friendly and helpful, the food plentiful, varied and excellent quality. The room service superb with towels and bed-linen changed daily. The rates are excellent and the inclusion of a car allows guests to travel around the island taking in all the wonderful scenery and Jersey hospitality at their leisure.
There was just one 'down-side' we had a sea-view room with balcony and although the hotel is definitely 'non-smoking' smoking the people next door smoked on the balcony which with open windows in hot weather smoke drifted into our bedroom.

We had a lovely stay at The Pontac House Hotel, every member of staff were brilliant, they are a happy bunch, always pleasant & made us laugh. 3 stars for the hotel isn't enough & I would say that you are a definate 4 star hotel. Hope to see you all again. Laurie & Colin Brown

We had a really good stay at Pontac House Hotel in Jersey last week...Everything about it is first class...the staff are friendly and very helpful, and the food is excellent.
I have already recommended it to a couple of friends who want to visit Jersey next year.

The Hotel is in a lovely location with beautiful sea views from the restaurant. We were staying there for a family wedding on the island so did not have dinner at the hotel but the breakfasts were superb and the waiting staff very efficient and friendly. The room was clean with good quality furniture and fittings.

The Pontac House Hotel is a small and intimate family run hotel situated directly
opposite St Clement's bay beach and overlooking the spectacular Bay. The friendly
and comfortable atmosphere means that the 3 Star Pontac House Hotel is ideal for
visitors looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Rooms
The hotel has 27 rooms, most with glorious sea views and balconies, and all en-suite.
Each room is equipped with: TV, hairdryers, direct dial telephones, tea & coffee
making facilities and full central heating.
The Seaview and Balcony rooms offer dramatic and unrivalled views of the bay and
there are Superior Rooms available too.
Restaurant
The Pontac House Hotel has a very well-regarded restaurant with a long established
reputation for good food. Focussing on fresh local Jersey produce including locally
caught seafood, there are a varied selection of menus including 'a la carte' and
'table d'hote'. There is also a Cocktail Bar.
Swimming Pool
The hotel boasts an outdoor heated swimming pool with patio and gardens.
Disabled Facilities
Five ground floor rooms with sea view and balcony, 1 adapted for a disabled person
with walk in shower grab rails for the toilet and shower. There is a ramp at the
entrance to the hotel but there are three steps between the original building and
the new wing on the ground floor.
