Located in one of the most beautiful and peaceful parts of Jersey in the heart of
the countryside, the 4 Star Hotel La Place centres on a seventeenth century traditional
Jersey farmhouse in St Brelade. Based within the heart of a network of Jersey's
'Green Lanes' suited to walkers and cyclists, the picturesque St Aubin's Harbour
is also very near.
Rooms
At Hotel La Place there are 4 styles of bedrooms, from pool-side rooms with a private
terrace to elegant four-poster bedrooms with whirlpool baths. All bedrooms are individually
designed and have en-suite facilities with bath and shower and have direct dial
telephones and satellite television. All rooms also have either views of the pool
or stunning views of the Jersey countryside.
Standard bedrooms are either double or twin-bedded, are en-suite and have a colour
TV. Some ground floor standard rooms have patio doors with easy access right onto
the hotel grounds. Standard rooms have the following facilities: Clock, Sky Television,
Hair Dryer, Telephone wake-up call function, Direct Dial phone and 24 Hour Room
Service.
Poolside bedrooms are beautifully designed and give instant access to the Poolside
terrace via your own private patio that overlooks the outdoor swimming pool. Rooms
are decorated in pastel shades to create a light, airy feeling, they and bring a
sense of outside, inside.
The Superior bedrooms add even more luxury to your visit with features like Four
Poster beds, Jacuzzis or private Poolside Patio bedrooms to choose from. They also
offer all the facilities that Standard rooms offer. There are also Executive rooms
available, and all rooms are non-smoking.
Restaurant
Hotel La Place's award winning 2 Rosette Restaurant 'Retreat Restaurant' offers
a 'table d' hote' and 'a la carte' menu. The innovative food is prepared using locally
produced food from the land and sea in Jersey, and the outcome a fusion of wholesome
English & Country French flavours. The charming wooded beams and elegant but
informal surroundings, and the friendly and experience staff only add to the dining
experience at Retreat Restaurant.
There is also The Retreat Bar which caters for all tastes and is a great place if
you want to just sit and have a Latte or a bar snack or have a cocktail or two before
dinner. It has a light comfortable feel and views outside through French patio doors
to the poolside area.

Hotel La Place has a heated outdoor swimming pool.

Conference Rooms
From a small meeting for 2 or a large meeting for 150, Hotel La Place can cater
for many types of events of all sizes. There are four meeting rooms: The Meadow
Suite, The Garden Room, The Drawing Room and The Haven Suite. They can be set out
in the following configurations: Theatre, Classroom, Boardroom, Cabaret, U-Shape
and in a Drinks Reception format.
Weddings
With a wedding at Hotel La Place you'll have your very own dedicated Wedding Adviser
who is attentive to your needs and will make sure your big day runs smoothly. This
local expert can help you as much as you want, and there is also the Bride and Groom's
Hotline available to you which means you can ring at any time with requirements
or concerns. Hotel La Place holds a full license to perform Civil Ceremonies in
all of our suites and the following locations can also be used: landscaped Wedding
Gardens, 17th century Courtyard and Lounge for aperitif, Garden Room, Conservatory
and The Retreat Restaurant.
Disabled Facilities
A ground floor bedroom is available. Limited bathroom access. Steps leading into
dining room.
