The Golden Sands Hotel is situated right on St Brelade's Bay beach and offers relaxed
and family-friendly, 4 Star accommodation with superb views of one of Jersey's finest
beaches. An ideal location for a family and those that enjoy the beach, it also
makes for an excellent place to explore the rest of the Island.
Rooms
There is a mixture of Standard and Superior bedrooms with inland views or panoramic
views across St Brelades Bay. Most of the rooms are south-facing and have balconies.
Junior Suites can be arranged as either a super king-size double or a twin with
a seating area. The rooms are very large and spacious and can therefore accommodate
up to 3 extra beds (for children up to the age of 16). Furnished using high quality
fixtures and fittings, facilities include: Mini Bar, DVD players and complimentary
access to the hotel's DVD library, Bathrobes, Safe, Tea & Coffee Making Facilities,
Satellite Television, Direct Dial Telephone with Voice Mail and a Hairdryer.
Superior Rooms, like the Junior Suites can be set up as a super king-size double
or a twin with a seating area. The rooms are individually designed using luxurious
furniture and spacious, and equipped with: Safe, Tea & Coffee Making Facilities,
Satellite Television, Direct Dial Telephone with Voice Mail, Hairdryer and Bathrobes.
The Family Rooms are large and spacious, arranged as a Double and fitted with the
latest design in bunk beds that easily fold away and turn into a comfortable seating
area when not in use.
Each Standard Room is decorated in a modern, contemporary style, and like the other
types of rooms can be set up as either a super king-size double or twin. Facilities
are: Satellite Television, Tea/Coffee Making Facilities, Direct Dial Telephone with
Voice Mail and Hairdryer.
Restaurant
As you would expect from a hotel so close to the sea, the fresh seafood is excellent
at The Golden Sands Hotel's restaurant. There is a wide choice of dishes for everyone
with seasonal "Jersey Fresh" produce featuring predominately on all the menus. The
restaurant offers a daily changing table d' hôte menu and a full a la carte and
grill menu coupled with great views over the bay. The newly refurbished Café Bar
offers meals throughout the day serving everything from a coffee and croissant to
a fresh lobster and glass of Champagne.
Early children's dinner is available and there is a playroom in high season which
is supervised at meal times to allow parents to relax and dine in peace.

Tourist Attractions
On the doorstep, St Brelade's Bay beach is arguably the best on the Island and is
great for families, swimmers, sunbathers and watersports enthusiasts. near-by the
hotel is the picturesque harbour of St Aubin which features shops, restaurants and
pubs and for a dedicated shopping experience, only a mile away is the popular shopping
centre at Red Houses.
Disabled Facilities
Public areas (situated on the ground floor) and entrance to the hotel are accessible
for disabled guests as no stairs in these areas and door width suitable. There is
a disabled toilet with shower located on the 1st floor of the hotel which is accessible
by a lift. No bedrooms which are suitable for wheelchair-bound guests as no bathrooms
suitable.
