• 25th April - 26th 2010: Tour de Bretagne
  The Tour de Bretagne will be in its 44th year when its cyclists hit island roads in April 2010. Over a hundred professional riders with teams competing from all over the world including members of the British National cycle team, the event should prove to be an exciting sporting spectacle.


• 30th April - 3rd May 2010: Jersey MG Rally 2010
  Every year more and more visiting cars attend this prestigious rally, set against the beautiful backdrop of Jersey. Several motoring activities are planned for this exciting annual event, run by the Jersey MG Owners Club. • 1st to 3rd May 2010: Jersey Boat Show
  Getting the boating season off to a start is the 3-day Jersey Boat Show event held in the St Helier marina and on the heritage quays. Attracting an estimated 12,000 visitors each year, the event features a variety of boats, from power boats to sail boats, luxury yachts to kayaks and an enjoyable event for anyone who loves the water. • 9th May 2010 - Liberation Day Festival
  Join islanders to celebrate the liberation from Occupying Forces during World War II. The 2010 event will be the 65th since Jersey was liberated, and this exciting festival will offer a variety of activities and events including heritage trails and access to WWII bunkers not normally open to the public. 'Liberation Day' falls on Sunday 9th May when there will be a commemorative service and islanders will celebrate freedom, reconciliation and prosperity with an afternoon tea dance and food fair.

• Saturday 22nd May 2010: Gorey Fete de la Mer

• Friday 4th - Sunday 6th June: The Credit Suisse Jersey International Motoring Festival
  The largest motoring event in the Channel Islands, The Credit Suisse Jersey International Motoring Festival carries on from Jersey's glorious and pioneering days of motor sport emanating from the famous Jersey International Road Races of the 40's and 50's. Sprints, hill climbs, treasure hunts, cavalcades and static displays give participants and spectators the opportunity to come together in an extravaganza of motoring from yesteryear.

• Saturday 12th - Sunday 13th June 2010: Foire de Jersey
  Jersey's traditional country fayre combines with the Jersey Rose and Flower Show and Island Spring Cattle Show to promise a full entertainment programme for all the family. Activities include cattle shows, a craft show, ring-events, food tasting, traditional country games and floral displays, demonstrations and competitions.


• Saturday 12th - Sunday 27th June 2010: June in Bloom Floral Festival
  Enjoy Jersey at its floral best with a week full of open gardens, demonstrations, flower shows and environmental walks.


• Saturday 26th June 2010: Bonne Nuit Harbour Festival
  Set in a beautiful north coast bay, Bonne Nuit Harbour Festival will include stalls and activities for every age with live music until late, refreshments and food served all day - a great day out for all the family.

Jersey Events in July 2010

• July 2010: Jersey Fish Festival
  
  
  Jersey Fisherman's association is staging a festival day for islanders and visitors to enjoy, located on Victoria Pier the event will be a celebration of Jersey's sea fishing industry.
  
  All proceeds for the festival are to be donated to local maritime charities; RNLI, Channel Isles Air Search and Variety Sailing Trust.
  
  The main focus is on local seafood. There will be a dedicated dining area surrounded by various local seafood stalls, plus local ciders and beers. Entertainment will be from 10 am to 10 pm including: a water carnival, decoration of the fleet, live French/Jersey simulated sea rescue using a French helicopter "Dragon 55" with the new local lifeboat, live music with visiting sea-shanty bands, Genuine Jersey produce, local traders stalls, a crafts market, cooking demonstrations by well known French and local chefs.
  
  Invitations have been extended to Guernsey and French fishing fleet to join the celebrations.
  
  
• 10th - 11th July 2010: West Show
  This bi-annual country show takes place in the country Parish of St Peter and features rural exhibits, traditional craft stalls, demonstrations and food tastings associated with a traditional country 'fayre' as well as introducing visitors to the island's most famous residents - the beautiful Jersey Cow.


• Sunday 18th July 2010: St Helier Pilgrimage
  Come and join the people of the island in their annual pilgrimage to the hermitage at Elizabeth Castle. This is a unique opportunity to take part in a Jersey tradition, visit Elizabeth Castle and the Hermitage itself, hear about the patron Saint of the island and celebrate his life. This whole event is free so come and enjoy a genuine Jersey afternoon.

• 12th & 13th August 2009 - Jersey Battle of Flowers Carnival
  
  
  Undoubtedly one of the most spectacular carnivals in Europe. Enjoy the spectacle of flower festooned floats, musicians, dancers and entertainers providing a tremendous atmosphere for one of the highlights in our summer events calendar.

• 4th and 5th September 2010: Jersey Live Festival of Music
  Jersey Live is a unique indie/rock/dance music festival held annually at the Royal Jersey Showground in Jersey. The coolest boutique music festival in Europe, Jersey Live has seen the likes of Kasabian, Razorlight and The Prodigy perform live with 2 Many DJs, Tim Deluxe and Jon Carter all spinning tunes.

• Saturday 11th September 2010: Heritage Open Day
  A wonderful opportunity to explore and enjoy sites owned or managed by Jersey Heritage and the National Trust for Jersey. These fascinating properties are either not usually open, or would normally charge an entrance fee.


• 11th – 18th September 2010: Autumn Walking Week
  Enjoy the great outdoors with various island walks where you'll see the best of Jersey. With woodland, seaside, rural, coastal and historic walks, led by experienced guides, and best of all it's free!
• 23rd - 26th September 2010: Branchage Jersey International Film Festival
  
  
  One of the biggest and most exciting cultural events held in Jersey is Branchage – the Jersey International Film Festival, showcasing the best in international and home grown cinema. The new event only began in 2008 but already is going from strength to strength, offering a diverse programme of feature, documentary and short films, live music and performance.

• 28th September 2010 - 3rd October 2010 - Festival of Arts & Crafts
  Over 80 exhibitors, mostly from the UK and Europe, will be showcasing their arts and handmade crafts at the Royal Showground, Trinity. Conveniently located all under one roof the Festival will include food & drink products and unusual gifts.

• 1st October 2010- Thursday 12th November 2010: Tennerfest
  For the 13th consecutive year, starting from the 1st October 2010, the Channel Islands can look forward to 6 weeks of great meals at fixed prices. • Thursday 7th - Sunday 10th October 2010: International Choir Festival of Jersey
  Visiting choirs from Europe and beyond participate in numerous concerts and competitions, culminating in the Open Final.

  The Royal Jersey Horticultural Society invites you to experience the shades of autumn with floral displays of all kinds and fruit and vegetables arranged in the most creative of ways. There will also be a poultry and small animal display and the Island Autumn Cattle Show as well as afternoon tea with home made cakes.

  Celebrate the cider of today and yesterday with a variety of activities and tastings at Hamptonne Country Life Museum.

  Join the National Trust for Jersey as they make this delicious local delicacy from the Island's apple harvest. Peel the apples, stir the pot and learn about the history and tradition of Black Butter making in Jersey and how it can be used with different foods today.
