Jersey International Air Display
Thursday 9th September 2010
The Jersey International Air Display is a free air show held in the beautiful setting
of
St Aubin's Bay
on the south coast of Jersey in
St Helier. Part of the Battle of Britain Week,
the Jersey International Air Display is organised by the Jersey International Air
Display (A.R.L.) to help raise funds for Forces Charities and attracts large crowds
of aviation enthusiasts.
The Jersey International Air Display has firmly established itself within the Air
show Calendar over recent years and features a wide variety of aircraft on show
from many different countries. In the past aircraft from Belgium, Ireland, France,
Netherlands, Russia, United Kingdom and the United States have all featured. There
is also a static display of aircraft at Jersey Airport where enthusiasts are given
the opportunity to take a closer look at some of the aircraft. The show usually
concludes with a display by the world famous and ever-popular Red Arrows.
