The Almorah Hotel is family run by the resident owners.
The Almorah Hotel was built around 1841 and is a listed building situated in an elevated position above the town of St Helier. Our hotel has views over the St Helier town, harbour and of Elizabeth Castle in St Aubin's Bay, with St Clement's Bay in the distance. At night time the views are fantastic and it is one of the most photographed scenes in Jersey.
Our friendly reception staff are happy to offer information about local tourist attractions, assist you with booking a hire car, help you organise island tours and day trips to France, Guernsey and Sark etc. They will also provide you with your morning newspaper.
Rooms
Most rooms enjoy magnificent views and some have the added advantage of a balcony.
All rooms are en-suite, centrally heated and have a TV, direct dial telephone, trouser press, hairdryer, and of tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms types include Single, double/ twin, family rooms plus extra beds and cots (and baby listening service) are available.

Our olde world Breton styled dining room offers traditional wholesome fayre with a full Jersey breakfast being served and delicious five course evening meal, complimented by our selection of fine wines available from our granite cellar.
