The Prince of Wales Hotel has fantastic sea views over Grève de Lecq, one of Jersey's most idyllic sandy bays on the north coast. The walks on the nearby cliffs are beautiful and you can see wonderful views over Sark and the nearby French coast. There is a bus stop close to the hotel. The hotel has free parking and free Wi-Fi for hotel guests.
The beach at Greve de Lecq is ideal for family holidays as it has plenty of parking, cafes and pubs and coarse golden sand. At the eastern end of the bay there is a stream which flows over the sands. Bathing is safe but watch out for the big swell.
The old pier opposite the hotel is a good place to fish and if you make friends with some of the locals why not ask them to show you the cave that leads to the "secret beach".
All bedrooms are en-suite with bath and shower, television, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms have their own private patio and sea view. Room types include double, twin and two large family rooms. Children under 2 years stay free and children aged 3 to 14 years get a discount off the normal room rate when sharing with two adults. Children occupying separate rooms are charged at full rate. Single occupancy can be arranged on request.
Guests can relax on the sun terrace, garden and in the TV lounge.
The popular hotel restaurant serves delicious food (including tasty lobster thermidor and Thai dishes) and has great beach and sea views. The hotel has a fully licensed bar.
Self-Catering Apartment
The Prince of Wales Hotel also has a self-catering penthouse apartment which has 2 bedrooms, fantastic sea views and sleeps up to 7. Self-catering rates are charged on a weekly basis and it is available from May until near the end of December.
